If you haven't yet, you should ask this question on the groupbuy site. The owner has been actively answering questions over there. Trans removal has been mentioned several times and it has been said to be very doable and a big help. As far as the spacer bars, I haven't a clue. I'm trying to figure out the same thing for my car.

Good idea will ask on the buy site ...... are you going to use it on the 55 ??

It doesnt matter how many more you get, it isnt getting any cheaper than $1275...thats still just too much for what it is, IMO. Sorry man. He needs to be at least $300 cheaper to get me interested.

I was talking about the casters right now there is only three in on that one, so it is not even a go. Need a few more to make it happen and of course the more there are the better it is for me again. But it also has a long way to go.


As far as cost goes, we each have our own budget and what we consider a good value. I tend to pay more for tools I know I will use for a long period of time. I try to buy quality where I can and not cheap out on a item because I can save a certain percentage on the cost. but then I have also seen what low cost jack stands and jacks can do to a guy and I like my head the way it is.

There is a tool for a job and a job for every tool.

Yes, I plan on using it on the 55, as well as my bike when he gets the motorcycle accessory done. I still have to measure the 55 to figure out what I have to buy.

I never got enough info. from the manufacturer to make a decision. I wanted to know the steel specs, but I guess that's proprietary info?

Anyway, but a Hein-Warner 3 ton jack the other day, so I guess I'm set
