EZY-Lift pickup bed crane

Hello all. I discovered this item from a Pinterest link. I really think it’s a cool idea. Hydraulic cylinders lift the frame thru a 130 degree range and an electric hoist lifts the items up. It has a 2000lb capacity. I was curious about the square tube dimensions needed to support these loads. Any recommendations if I wanted to try and build something like this?

I see those in action at oilfield pipe yard loading and unloading drill stem about 4 foot long. Pretty handy.

Take a look for Matt Cremona on YouTube and his log trailer. A few years old.
He doesn’t have hydraulic but will give you some ideas for a build.
Imo it’s purpose built. Anything lifted either needs a platform or rigging.

Thanks for the pointing me in that direction. I actually listen to Cremona on Woodtalk. I didn’t realize he had a loader for his behemoth saw mill.

Educated guess would be 3x3x.090 tubing as a minimum.
