The only thing better is quick release dual 80, especially flex head. That's my go to. This may sound weird, but imo 1/2" dual 80s feel too fine considering the torque that is applied and the 1/4" t72 I have isn't as smooth as my 120xp or SK 40970. The F80s are superb though. I will say I haven't broke an s80 though, so...

It would be the perfect ratchet...if sockets weren't so difficult to remove. I have three of the F80s in various lengths, and they are all the same in that regard.

Who knows?
Rough eBay prices shipped?
F80=$55-$60
Fl80=$62-$70
Fhl80=$75 and up.

S80/SH80=$72 and up.
SL80/SLH80=$80 and up.
SLF80/A=$119 and up.
Shlf80/A=$159 and up.

Some of these prices aren't necesarilly "good" so much as they seem to be the going rates. I would consider the prices I listed for the 3/8" Dual-80's to be good prices though.

That's exactly the reason I bought a quick release. I hunted on eBay for months and months looking for a deal on a 3/8" flex head qr and finally found one. I think I paid around $60 with shipping for a used one. I pulled it apart, inspected it and lubed it up. It works flawlessly. For 1/2" quick release I bought a Proto j5449xlqr and man that thing is literally built like a brick house. I want to say it has 45 teeth, but is surprisingly smooth. I think I paid about the same. I can't justify buying new Snap On.
