I've poked around here on GJ for awhile now. I like to fabricate whatever I need in wood or metal or plastic, and have a pretty good set of tools- What I don't have is a 40x60 barn for all of it- I make do with a 3rd extended residential garage bay as many of us do.
However, I got tired of literally decades of fighting the war between storage and utility. I decided that it was time to clean out the junk, and get serious about functional storage and clean workspaces. (Oh, and the pressure got cranked up on that when I decided I had to take the leap and grab a Bridgeport mill and "benchtop" 12x36 lathe.)
I've been on my quest for years, but I've finally reached a tipping point where I feel I can actually allow another human being to see my shop space.
Hopefully my posts here are informative or at least entertaining!
