Fabricator Gloves

I just found out today that Matco doesn't carry these gloves anymore

Does anybody know who used to make them for Matco?
Or are the Mechanix Wear MFG-05-010 pretty good? They look pretty similar, but I don't know if the quality is good.

The Mechanix Wear gloves are nice. I ruined my set pulling wire while running the wrecker, should have stuck to my cheap gloves. The gloves you mentioned are way heavy for wrenching but great for sheet metal fab and light welding.
