Hi Everyone

New to the forum but thought I'd kick things off with some opinions on the current 3/4" options from Facom.

Most of my tools are Facom and I have been looking at getting a 3/4" ratchet of late. Current options seem to be the older K.154B (72 tooth) and the latest KL.161 (120 tooth)..

I'm not bothered about the COO and both can be serviced, just wanted opinions from people who have owned and used either?

Thanks

I don't own those but if it were my money I'd get the head made to slot handles, K151. You can make it as long as you want plus it's rebuildable unlike the 120 tooth pear heads which are all press fit assembled. You really don't need super fine teeth in that drive size to begin with plus the 72 round head is a very well proven design. I've really liked the smaller drive sizes I've owned and said before i wish they'd expand their offerings.

I'd still stick with the round head. Bet you'll still be able to get a kit for it in 20 years. Who knows with the outsourced pear heads.
