So i've recently bought a set of Facom 440's and the finish honestly is not what i expected. I expected them to be a smooth satin finish and instead they have a rough cheap look. I've orderd a 9mm from a different supplier so i can compare the finish. Just curious if anyone has any pictures of the finish of theirs and there views on this.

I've not got mine anymore but have some pics. The finish was pretty great imho. Whether you find satin to be premium or cheap looking is subjective. The pic of the 12mm looks rougher than mine were but it could be the lighting.

What is the Country of origin on those Facom wrenches?

While the Facom 440 design seems to have originally been manufactured in Taiwan, at one point the manufacturing was switched to France.
I’m not sure ehether the subsequent manufacturing stayed in France, or switched back to Taiwan, or went elsewhere.
A switch in manufacturing location could cause a change in the finish though, since the finishing lines and techniques might be somewhat different at ftom different manufacturers and locations.

Found I still have a 10mm. It does have some texture to it like your pic but it is uniform and I had to try hard for it to show on a photo. I guess you will know for sure when the 9mm turns up.

Best spanners i've used.

Shorter than most, but i find that and advantage with modern engine bays.

Still plenty of length to counter hold for an impact.

Mine are from Taiwan i'm sure.
