Hi, I am very interested in Purchasing the Facom 467 wrenches, especially since I have read some great comments here and there in GJ about them. I know that they come is various flavors such as the short, the flex and the open end ratcheting ones but for now I think I am interested in the 467.JP10 set unless I am convinced that a different set is more desirable. I would entertain a Stanley set as long as the specs are identical to the Facom, i.e. length, thickness and offset, who knows it may be cheaper under the Stanley name.

Feedback on the set with open end ratcheting design "appears" gimmicky to me and it makes me think that it would round off corners but I have no first hand experience and welcome feedback of real life tried and true tested testimonies :)

I am no stranger to Facom so I know about their quality and I know that they are now owned by Stanley. In fact I saw a post of someone buying a new MAC wrench set with a holder that is identical to my 440 Facom set. What I don't know is where the 467s are made now because my 440 set is made in Taiwan but my older ratchets are made in France so a COO for the 467 would be helpful.

Thanks in advance for sharing what you know about them so I can be an educated consumer!

my set.I think they are the best ratchet spanners ive owned, and ive owned a few. Yes the ratchet open end looked a bit gimmiky, I looked at a set on the maccy van last week, I wasnt impressed.

I have a set of Stanley's I got from Walmart about 10 years ago. The big problem with them is the handles are too thin and totally uncomfortable to use. And this is amateur use. Even then I'm ready to get rid of them for something else.

I have been looking to get some facom 467 because the thin ratchet head. How are yalls working still? I've got some Matco 90 tooth 15 degree spline drives. Looking at getting sk xframe for the 1.7 arc, wanting a THIN ratchet head wrench to go along with those.
