facom impact ratchet

Hi gents im after some help, i bought this impact ratcht aprox christmas.

Its much ,if not, the same as the ir hammerhead. Anyways its my goto transmission tool, from cars to lorrys. Last week the unit jammed and on closser inspection i noticed tgat the head had come adrift like this



Has any you you experanced this,and as i cant find any infomation on rebuild, as this time it was repaired under warrenty but what if it happens again.

Sorry, I have only seen the MAC/Proto version online & in catalogs. There fairly new out. I have an IR Hammerhead that has served me well.

It sure looks a lot newer from the side than from above. Was it dropped? Does it freewheel when off or was it used like a ratchet to break a fastener loose? My Hammerhead freewheels so, you can't use it like a ratchet or get leverage from it. Good luck & let us know how it works out for you.

It freewheels as its impact , no it wasnt dropped. Im jus kinda worried itll do it again. Oh well its got a busy week ahead so ill find out
