Facom Ratchet Refresh Program ($5 per ratchet)

Back in the early 70's, I started buying McIntosh audio equipment and was very pleased with the service clinics the factory would hold at their dealerships throughout the year. They would inspect and sometimes service any of their equipment, regardless of age, at little or no cost to the customer.

As a Facom tool dealer for the past 15 years, I have sold in excess of 1,000 of the 161 series palm control ratchets, many to people on this forum. In the spirit of the old Mac Audio Clincs, customers can now send back their Facom 3/8" and 1/2" drive ratchets for replacement of the internals, cleaning, lubrication and adjustment. Sounds like a nice promotion; fine print should be acknowledged however; (I certainly don't blame you for this caveat, but what would one have to do to qualify, if one never bought anything from Ultimate Garage?

1. To qualify, you must have purchased a minimum of $50.00 from Ultimate Garage over the past 5 years or have proof that the ratchet was purchased through Ultimate Garage sometime in the past 15 years.

Maybe; a little facom intro or promotional set at a sale price would be a good idea to qualify for the ratchet upgrade; have the double benefit of driving sales and introducing potential new customers to the facom tool line?

The $50 in purchases don't have to be Facom (there are plenty of other products to choose from). The promo which involves time and cost on my part and is a thanks for customer loyalty. SD
