years ago I bought a FACOM 3/8 ratchet off the tool truck and it worked great until I had to use a cheater bar to break a bolt loose (it was an emergency and I didn't have a 1/2" with me). I have searched to no avail so if anyone knows where I can send it to get it replaced I would sure appreciate any info.

I hope you have better luck than I did. i have a britool ratchet - now part of FACOM - that needs a rebuild kit. You have to buy a rebuild kit which I am okay with except no one can supply one for me. I tried when I w\s in the U.K. on vacation. I even called FACOM numerous times with no one even botering to call me. I also emailed them with no success either. I have given up. A shame really because they are nice tools but the level o disinterest in the dealers and from the manufacturer themselves makes me lose interest. I have older snap on, MAC and craftsman ratchets that I never have a problem getting repaired.

When I bought the tool, I was told they were a new venture being introduced in the USA and would be the next big tool company. It is/was an excellent fine tooth ratchet and had a nice balanced feel to it. It would be nice to have it functioning again.
