Need some advice from you floor finish pros. A little background. I am in the Hardscape Construction business. I have an old unfinished 24x24 detached garage that I would like to finish out for my rides. The concrete is failing in that it is spalling and appears to be showing signs of moisture wicking and efflorescence. My question, is it work messing with trying to fix this with any of the modern exposes etc? My first thought was to just lay a poly vapor barrier and then sand set some large 9K psi pavers over the whole mess, problem gone. The added ht is not an issue and can be worked around as I am installing a new garage door opening on different side. The hesitation is that I really don't want any joints bc too hard to sweep and roll jacks etc, but tiles would be the same or worse so would like input on that as well. I am sure retail cost on Pavers would be higher than an epoxy or tile solution, but since I am in the business, that is not an issue. Thanks for the opinions.
