I,d go $500.
I have the same box, but mine has the matco badges.
It is a good, very sturdy, well built box. However I think $750 is a bit much especially in that condition. But I may be a bit biased as I paid $100 for mine.
It is all friction slides.
The ad says that a side box is included, but not pictured
Looks like someone has built a cart and replaced the factory casters.
I really like the bottom box, lots of storage, well built thin drawers. However I personally prefer full length drawer pulls. But the twin handles work as well.

Very skeptical of older boxes on a frame with casters. It usually means the bottom is rotted out.

Maybe not..."Mill Carts" are built like that...my dad has 2 boxes, one Kennedy one SnapOn, both of which he bought new. Fabbed up new frame bases right from the get go. Factory casters just cant withstand the use & mileage they put on boxes in a paper mill. They also put lift rings, and other mill modifications.
Its quite a sight to see a fully loaded KRL with side cab and chain locker flying thru the air dangling from a 100T House Crane.

I often wondered how well Snap On casters would hold up in a rough industrial environment. We're the Snap On casters the spring loaded types?
Making a frame base with aftermarket casters is common practice in the world of industrial maintenance. But 90% of the tools boxes are crapsman and Waterloo, everyone is too cheap to go Snap On.

If you got it for under $500 Id say you made out well, especially since it is a good ole american made toolbox. Its at least better than giving your money to sears.

I think he is saying that he "got the message" and will offer $300 as a starting negotiation point.
OP I wish you the best of luck with that opening "negotiation". Just based on the price the seller has already put on it, I would assume he thinks it is worth quite a bit and will be insulted by your $300 offer. Nevertheless, good luck. Never know until you try I suppose.
If I was in true need of a box I would probably pay up to $400-$450 for it depending on the in person condition. As I mentioned earlier it is a good solid box, but friction slide. The main thing with used boxes is that condition is everything. Something about that box just screams "rode hard and put up wet". But you never really know until you see it in person. Make sure to check the frame of the bottom box for stress cracks in the corners.
JUST FYI, it has ~6500 in^2 of storage, measures 33"widex18.5"deepx57"tall and weighs ~350lbs
Also if you are still looking for a box. I think this is nice for the price. It is an older waterloo made box.
