Guys,

What would be a fair price for a professional to grind old epoxy off of 1000 square feet? I was quoted $500 which seems low, not sure they, and I, are on the same page.....

1.00 a square would be fair for a real grinder with dust remediation equipment.
May want to have them show you what they will use and that you want all the material gone.

That said, if the material is down tight, why remove?

Degrease, degloss, solvent wipe, re-prime and coat away.

It has been a while, but $1/sq.ft is what we used to pay in Australia, however 1000sq.ft. is small so it would normally attract a premium.

Is that to say that it is good practice to put epoxy on top of epoxy?
