Hi Fellow GJers...Need your opinion...In my area there is a Snap-on KRL722 rollaway box with the stainless steel top for sale for $3500 obo. Do ya'll think this is a fair price or what would be a fair price if I shoot him a best offer. Thank you very much for your time everybody!

Only based off of how fast those boxes depreciate and most are bough well below Retail New... I wouldn't be a buyer at 3500.. If its New condition.. 2k, maybe a little more if its really calling my name when I go and look at it.

I agree with hiball about 2000 but maybe a little more because of the stainless top. When I say a little I mean like 150-200 more, lol.

Depends on condition and your location, but that price is too high IMHO. I got my KRL1001 with SS top and hutch for $2k

$3500 would be a fair price for a KRL1023, but not for a little tiddly wink 722. More like $1500 for one of those.

It's been said time and again, price depends on your area and to some extent buyer and seller. Prices are really all over the map. Talk to the seller and feel them out. A box like that could sell for under $2K in nice condition (it would go pretty fast) up to $3K in some places. If you're in no rush and you have time on your hands to shop for the right deal, the price will be what you say it is.

I gave $1600 for my red KRL722 with stainless top and drawer liners 2 years ago. It did have a couple minor scratches on it. I have herd of dealers selling them new for $3500. Just because the book says 6-7K for a new one don't mean thats what they sell for.
