Fairmount cleve wrench

Any idea on the age of this item? Got it today for a mere .25, cant pass it up. Odd to 7/8" and 13/16". I take it to be worth maybe $10 but its going in my tool box.

I have quite a few of these wrenches. Some are stamped with, "Ford" as Fairmount supplied auto makers with tools for their kits. I would bet that your wrenches are from the 1920s. Newer Faimount tools have much nicer milling and markings.

Yes it would appear that your wrench is an early one; you say .25 cents you sir **** big time and I say that in a nice way good job on finding it.

I have a few Fairmount tools I inherited from an uncle who started working in the heavy equipment business back in the late 1910s. One wrench looks older than the others. It's also cut differently with four flats. The sizes are stamped by hand. My uncle may have stamped the sizes, but the wrench ends don't look like they were cut by hand. Looking at the Alloy Artifacts page, I believe this wrench is older than what they've pictured. Let me know what you think.

Plombob yes you do indeed have a very early wrench from back in the day a very nice vintage example.
