So I bought this on the bay because I've needed to change out a few R134A charging ports lately and they use a unique 8 point socket. I found this for $38 and bought it. Got it today and it seems good enough for what I need it for but was curious why the sockets and tools have absolutely zero markings on them. Every other Snap-on tool I own has the name and part number on it. Can anybody shed some light on this? Thanks.

probably made by robinair or similar, and all snap-on did it put there labels on it

I agree......also why they put the replacement part numbers on the sticker.

I did a quick google search for service port sockets from AP parts/Robinair/Mastercool etc. and it appears that none of their sockets have any numbers or markings either......

Beware that a lot of specialty tooling that Snap-On sells are simply rebadged. They make a lot of tools in house, but a lot they do not.
