"In this video I show you how I organized my husbands tools in his toolbox."

.

Is it inappropriate for my mind to wander into ******** territory? Im pretty certain her husband’s real toolbox is nowhere within a 20 mile radius of his home:spit:

I bought an intake pipe for my truck off Amazon. I did it because it dresses up the engine and stop my boost gauge from fluttering under full boost. If you know anything about turbos, boost is also a measure of restriction. If you decrease restriction, flow increases but boost decreases. I laughed when the reviews for said intake claimed increased boost and tons of horsepower. In reality you likely gained 0. Definitely not enough to feel a difference on a stock truck.
There are a couple of issues here. One is reviewers bribed with freebies in return for glowing reviews. The other is incompetent fools given a platform to prove to the knowledgeable that they do not have a clue. Just read the Amazon Q&A section. The answere are often ridiculous and completely contradictory to each other.
My peve is Amazon reviewers, that say they have not used the product yet but they are sure it will be great, 5☆ , and the ones that order the wrong part and blame the product,1☆. Since the beginning if time sellers have exaggerated the value of what they are selling . It is advertising. I think the buyer has to take some responsibility and not take BS at face value and then complain they were screwed. My favorite is the singles dating site that has some supper hottie that claims she is looking for Mr. Right. Anybody that thinks they will get a date with her is delusional.

Are you telling me there aren't hot single ladies 0.8 miles away even though there's no one around me? That can't be true.

Its the complete sentence thats the lie lol...

“Local, hot, *****, single, ladies waiting for your text to hookup with guys LIKE you”

If they didnt hook up with your likes yet, you gotta hope they all those conditions lmao

They could be hot ***** ladies, but they not single
They could be hot ***** single ladies but nowhere near you
They could even be local, hot, *****, single waiting for yourtext to hookup ... but not be women...

I review some items on Amazon and to be honest almost all my reviews are 5 stars. I take a long time to research items I buy and I am very rarely disappointed. When I am I just return the product (and never think about leaving a review).

I have no problem with people getting items for free and reviewing them, but sometimes the lack of disclaimer bothers me.

I have seen YouTube channels getting free items (talking about computers, IT) and giving less than stellar reviews including some very bad ones.

And while I LOVE South Main Auto channel on YouTube it is not always clear when he uses tools that have been sent to him by a manufacturer for free (sponsored video then I would think), or sent by viewers as gift, or that he bought himself. Regardless he seems to give honest reviews. The ones that disappointed me was when he used the OTC Encore (which I believe he got for free, though it would be hard for me to find where I got that information, it was not disclosed in the original video I believe) and never pointed out (unless I missed it) that it was SLOOOOOOOOOW, so slow.

Is there a spot here for tool reviews? I used to review on Amazon and was amazed by the stupidity of the people who would misuse tools and then give a bad review when they broke such as using a sawzall as a chainsaw, or out and out wrong model number than the tool being reviewed.

I also reviewed on e-pinions and got tired of getting not helpful ratings from housewives who would ask me how long the cord was on a cordless tool!

Where do you guys find reviews besides here?

Well we all know they do this, and they're easy to spot. If you can't tell what a fake review is, you'd probably better just go see if you can try it out at the store. I mean, you really can't hide the fakeness. For a fake review, it has to be great. Just wonderful. If you start taking about some of the downsides, well now its just a real review. Real downsides, that is. I don't think I know anyone who would take into consideration the fact that it sat in the bottom of a pool for a week.
