this video looks and sounds fake to me

A GFCI with an internal short? cant say ive ever seen one develop an internal short like that

also 120v cant produce an arc gap like that plus the voltage sounds likes high voltage from primary lines

I saw that on FB yesterday. My first thought was fake. Not only because of the fire, but how many times do two service men go out to change one GFCI and it just happens that one of them was able to capture it on video? And the fact that the guy with the flaming receptacle in his hands didn't even flinch.

when you digest the words ... "Oh boy, ... the breakers are not even tripping.." then goes and try to proof it with a NCV detector... LOL... he is expecting the flame.

Not to mention the professional "electrician" tools that non-professional me would have used to do electrical work. Heck I have used a nail clipper once, when I couldn't find the scissors to cut the live wires.
