Faking a gas pump front

I own a building that was a Mobil station when I was a kid. It was built in 1948. Nothing fancy about it. A block building that I added onto about 6 years ago for my restoration business.

I have since shut down that business (at least as a full time business, I still play with my own cars) and am turning the office into a place to drink beer, watch tv, and play cards.

OK, the question. Years ago I straightened the tins on a gas pump and damn if the front wouldn't have been a perfect fit for the panel recess on my rest room door. I'm not looking to find any actual tins and a face to attach to my door, but I would like to paint one on and find some decals to simulate the face and Mobil logo for the late 40's/early 50's that may have been sitting on the island in the parking lot.

Any ideas where I can find such decals? Further more a site where I could find dimensions and pictures of the pump used when my shop was built?

I found a quick pic of the front. Like I said, nothing fancy compared to some of the cool old stations I see on this site.

ROFLMAO - you can buy a new "contains lead" sign from that site for $12. Go look at what the rusty ones go wanting for on eBay. I'm going to buy one and show it to the lady here in the junk store that wants $100 for hers.

I've bought several items from them for my garage. About as complete a selection as I've ever found in one place.

Hi I'm Don the owner of Vic's 66 I would like to say thanks for the kind words about Vic's! First time visiting the Garage Journal site and it is GREAT I will be stopping by often to visit. "Cars" if you need pictures of gas pumps and ideas of color combo, placement of signage or decals try this link https://www.vics66.com/clearance-items/links/lets-see-it/some-of-your-favorite-pumps-right-here/ If you have any questions please feel free to give me a call. Thanks again

I've delt with Don on many occasions when it came to building gas pumps. Very helpful and he has everything you can imagine.

No problem on the link. Its the best One I've Found for a huge amount of options. I plan on using them a bunch when I restore my pumps.

I can vouch for Vic's as well, I've bought several items from them in the last couple of years.
