I can't say I usually see good deals on quality tools. There are sometimes good deals, but other times the prices some guys are asking just seem way high. If you've got a list of what you might sell and prices, can you send it to me? If you do go, post up what space you get so I can stop by...assuming you can still get one. I'll be there on Thursday.

I went to Carlilse a few years ago, cant wait to go back. There was plenty of tools at the swap meet. We walked for 2 days and never even seen the car show. I will go for more than 2 days next time. Oh and take alot more money! My wife even found cool antiques to buy at the swap meet.

Good idea; we could always use more tools to look at, and hopefully buy at Carlisle. Don't know about prices, as it seems most of the tools being sold are new.

Post the location of your table, and I'll try and stop by.

Lots of folks bring their old stuff to unload. With the preponderance of China tool tents there, people are looking for the good stuff.

there is a strip of hotels and gas stations as soon as you get off the turnpike. thats generally where the show crowd stays. as for specific hotel names--cant help ya there. i always rely on my friends to book the hotel and just chip in.

Was at Carlisle this spring and I hope to go back this fall. Plenty of vendors selling tools and it's just like anything else there. Some items fairly priced while other guys think they have gold.
I'm going to be selling at the englishtown show on the weekend of the 23rd.

anyone know of a good hotel to stay at near Carlisle?

the hotel on the strip will be full and high $$$$$ when we go to all ford we stay over in
mechanicsburg pa, there is a lot of thing to do over there good food and places to shop,
and its faster to get to the fair grounds from there than running the strip in every day
