Fall weather concrete curing

I know there are a thousand threads on curing concrete and I already talked with my concrete guy we aren't doing any curing spray on top so I can seal it down the road. My question is since the temps are going to be in the low 60s during the day and mid 40s at night so nice cool weather for a slow cure. Do I need to be spraying the slab with water as well with temps lower or is that a wam weather process?

Concrete cures by incorporating water in the molecular structure. Making sure there is sufficient moisture is always a problem.
Temperature for you is about ideal for pouring and finish. I say keep wet blankets on it for a few days to a week. Look for discarded ones as they work fine, normal blankets not the concrete ones the contractors use.

Are you going to be using a sealer that maintains the bare concrete look? If so, something to consider if using wet blankets, plastic sheeting, etc. is that they can cause marks, discoloration, or mottling due to uneven moisture distribution if not done correctly. I only bring this up because we get a lot of questions from people with new concrete who are looking for a way to "even out" the look due to marks or color issues using plastic or blankets.

Given your weather conditions there really isn't any need to 'cure' the slab. There is plenty of mix water in the concrete to support hydration and evaporation won't take out enough to bother.
