I'm planning to wire THIS CONTROLLER to a 120V brush style universal motor so that I'll be able to control the speed of the motor.
I'll be adding a remote potentiometer as shown in the diagram, But I'm kind of confused on how the "Circuit Diagram" shows the L1 & L2 connection points.
Normally doesn't the term L1 & L2 refer to the two hot lines of a 240V circuit?
Being I'll be wiring this on a 120V line am I correct on figuring that the hot lead would go to the "Red" wire that they are showing as L2 & the "Black" wire L1 will go to the hot lead of the motor?
