l found a great deal on Ebay for some 3/4" Wright tools last night, from 3 separate auctions, all from the same seller. 2 foot ratchet (lightly used), 23 inch breaker bar (new), and two 3" extensions (new) for $100.

l offered $45 for the ratchet, $40 for the breaker bar, and $15 for the extensions, and the seller accepted my offers quickly with no counteroffer.

This site costs me too much money. I just got one of those 6400 ratchets recently for slightly more than your offer but I went through and offered this guy the same amounts for each that you did. Why did you post this!!!!

Recently there has been a lot of talk about 3/4" tools, especially breaker bars. Which got me to looking. Do I need 3/4"? Not really. Occasionally there will be an old pump at work that needs a rebuild, that has been leaking water forever and has some ugly rusty bolts to break free, so once or twice a year this purchase will come in super handy. Mostly, though, I just had to have it because it exists ;)

A Wright 3/4" drive set from Ebay saved my night tonight when I needed a 1-7/8" socket to tighten a tire carrier spindle on a Jeep. I might pull that set out once a year, but it pays for itself real quick!

I have a full set of 3/4 drive wright tools that I use at work as a heavy duty. I beat the living **** out of them and they hold together. There's a big difference between no name junk and Wright.

How often do we hear someone say something along the lines of, "I will only use it once a year, so I cannot justify spending a lot of money on it"?

I tend to think the opposite way. If I only use it on a rare occasion, then chances are it is outside of my normal wheelhouse of jobs. Isn't that the time that it is most important for your tool to come through?

I have made it a point to buy high quality tools, and American made if possible. I don't believe I will regret this purchase. Next step will be a big socket set. I have a few, but not a full set.

Shameless plug, I just sorted out a mixed USA brand set of 3/4" drive from my pile of sockets and put them in the classifieds. I'm really trying to cut down on my extras, these will take a lot of weight and bulk out of my pile.

Over 4 decades, I have never been disappointed with quality tools. Wright has always been good to me. No comparison between them and Asian imports

Ordered and paid for the ratchet and the guy just canceled my order. No explanation or anything.
I bought it yesterday, he cancelled mine this after noon and said I thought I had more than I did

I received my tools in the mail today. They came as advertised, but were one day later than estimated, and there was no tracking number provided, which was a bit nervewracking. I will not be ordering from that seller again. Looks like he has more going on than he can handle.

I had the same experience, but I had a tracking number that only let me know when the package was received by USPS in Geneva, IL and received by USPS in Coralville, IA.

I received my 3/4" breaker bar yesterday. He also gave me a regular USPS tracking number for it, so no complaints there.

What I am a little ticked about is that he canceled my purchase of some Stahlwille wrenches - and, he still show those wrenches for sale.
