FastCap Remote Vacuum Control - Experience?

Hi Folks:

I am considering buying a FastCap Remote Vacuum Control that can allow you to mount a large canister vacuum in a remote location in your garage and use a remote control switch to turn it on and off. Can anyone offer comments or review of their experience?

I don't have that brand, but have a remote unit like it. Found it in the Christmas lights stuff at the hardware store. It was half the cost. I use it on my turbine paint compressor when painting works good.

I've had it for 2-3 years - works great, occasional use. My hose is ~20 feet and have never had a problem controling it. Don't think I've even changed the battery yet. Would recommend, let me know if you have any specific questions.

I have one of those 15 dollar light remotes taped to my 75' vac hose on a reel. Works great...if you zoom in you can see it and the plug end too.
