I don't have any experience with Jonnesway, but those are some great prices. Anyone have any feedback on them? What's the COO?

Jonnesway, at least the stuff I got stuck using, is pretty much your average import stuff. The 1/4, 3/8 & 1/2 socket set case was pretty decent though.

You have to dig around their website to find the good deals sometimes. Of note, almost all of their grade 9 fasteners are on clearance.
I bought that 1-1/4" Armstrong wrench. It is NOT polished like in the picture, FYI.

I recently needed a holesaw 4-5/8+. Since I needed it ASAP, I had to drive to 5 places, cheapest of which was 50 bucks. Hd,Lowes, plumbing house, electrical supply, a local tool dist and finally fastenal. The highest was 174.00 for a bosch holesaw. If they had the regular, non-carbide it would have been 79.00.

Short Story long, Fastenal was 6.09otd. I left 7 bucks, asked the guy if he was sure,he said, "there's no way but it's in my system so you paid, it's yours." I ran out jic he realized an error. It(the bit) worked pretty well.

I just ordered the Arm strong wrench, however im a little worried. My confirmation email had a "*" next to it, in fine print it states my total was an estimated total and it depends on the shipping prices at the time, contracts and etc. If this wrench costs me more than $20.61 someone will be hearing about it!:willy_nil

this is what my email says as well "*Estimated price is subject to change due to possible shipping charges, unknown product prices,and/or negotiated contract pricing."

Holly **** this is a great deal.
Want.
BTW the BHE20 seems to be a 3/4" rotary hammer not a 5/8" as stated on the Fastenal web site. Can anyone confirm?

Yeah, I just bought a Porter Cable hammer drill ('7A', non SDS) last week so I didn't bite...wish I hadn't already used it to drill a test hole for my lift install. Otherwise I'd return it and get this.

My order was on my porch when I got off work today. The spring compressor seems stout enough however I only received one.. I sent them an email to see if they forgot the other one or if they are sold in singles. I've never compressed a coil spring with only one compressor of this style, usually its hard enough to keep two of them on a spring

Hmmmm......looks like I can get some 1/2"x4" steel for .24 per foot! Local store also has the 50 ft air hose for $9. Pretty decent deals!

some nice deals until you get to checkout and they tack on shipping.

And if you don't ship and simply pick up at the store they tack on a "Freight charge". The clearance 1" Hex 1018 bar I picked up was $21. But Fastenal tacked on an $11 Freight charge. So this extra charge was %50 of the cost of my whole item.

My $21 bar became a $34 bar after that.

Yeah, how'd you get it shipped to store? Did you call the store directly?

I did not see that option - to ship to store (but oddly, when you "estimate shipping" they show store pickup as an option).

What I did was search for a nearby store that had the item listed as in stock. Then I just rolled by at lunch.

Well I have an addiction. I buy tools I'll surely never need. In addition to the 4 PC sets of the flex flare wrenches, I also got flex flares in 22mm, 24mm, 9/16", 5/8", 11/16", 3/4", 13/16", 7/8" and 1". When the hell am I gonna need a 1" line wrench? Probably never!!

Couple of lukewarm deals on end mills for the machinists, but there's a lot to sift thru to find them.

I got all my Jonnesway flex flares the other day. They seem pretty nice to me, so much so that if you needed a sole set of flares this wouldn't be a bad way to go, at least for a DIY kinda guy - I have no idea how they'd hold up in a professional environment.

The one thing guys will either love or hate is that the flex end is 12pt. Honestly makes some sense to me if you're trying to access a hard-to-get-at fastener you may not have much swing available either. But the fixed end is 6 pt so there ya go. (If you must have flex 6 pt the GW's are).

One thing that's a bit odd is the length of the wrenches, it seems maybe they're trying to use the same blank for several sizes, but what's even more odd is that the 7/8" is a touch shorter than the 13/16" (see 2nd pic).

Also all the fractionals are chrome but the metrics are more of a satin (which seems to scratch very easily). I don't really care if my tools scratch so not a big deal for me.

Everything was made in Taiwan.

Really my point is that if you search Fastenal's site for "flexible flare clearance" you see all the Jonnesway options. The metric is more sparse but for fractional you can get a pretty damn comprehensive set 5/16" thru 1" for $50.81 (plus shipping) as follows:

4 pc set 5/16" thru 1/2" $16.79
9/16" $4.16
5/8" $4.66
11/16" $4.82
3/4" $4.89
13/16" $4.53
7/8" $6.26
1" $4.70

Maybe there's a better deal out there than $50 for a set thru 1"? And of course a lot of people simply won't need anything bigger than 3/8" or 7/16" for brake lines.

I live in Cleveland, and looked up nearest store availability. While it's true that the store would be closer if I were a CROW it doesn't really help much to show stores in southern Ontario...
