Where always talking about this.....and I see more of the huge assortments of fasteners people ask questions on


Who sells a decent size fastner assortment deal for your average guy...already comes in trays or whatever...something for the home that wouldnt take a lot of room up possibly mounted to the wall???

Griot's had some stuff that had US made fateners, and the price was reasonable. Haven't checked recently.

Hey Do you have a "Tractor Supply" near you. They sell "Cheap Grade" at 1.88/lb, Grade 5 at 2.45/lb and Grade 8 at 3.88/lb.
mix any size/length nut or bolt, of the same grade, for the same per pound price. I haven't been able to beat the deal anywhere here in central PA. The nearest TS is 30 miles in Carlisle as of right now: In about 6 weeks A new TS is going to open about 200YDS up the street from where I work east shore Harrisburg Can't Wait.

I've used The Home Pro people. Found them at a car show and liked what I saw. Service is good and they have a great selection. Nice to deal with. I started out with a handfull of screws and now have 3 slide drawer sets full. Came in handy during my car restoration.
