I'll be putting a new roof on the house in the next couple of weeks.
Looking at means and methods to attached the Owens Corning ProArmor synthetic underlayment.
The instructions say that standard pneumatic roofing nails can be used if shingles are installed the same day, need capped staples or capped nails.
I really hate hand driving capped nails and am seeing lots of comments online about the staples working themselves back up thru the shingles.
I'm not sure we can get the entire roof on in one day, but it would be completed the next day.
I'm thinking we'll shoot it on with the pneumatic roofing nailer with a few extras.
Is that a bad plan?
