The goal of this project is to create a workshop space large enough to restore a family car, notably Dad's first new car, a 1971 RS/SS Camaro. Ordered in 1970, this car served as a family car, has driven across country from Ohio to Washington, and has accumulated 165,000 miles before being parked and stored almost 20 years ago.
The space began as a deep one car garage, with a carport built in front of it, creating a three car parking arrangement. One car "inside" the house in the original garage, and two cars in front of it in the carport.
