Anyone know of anywhere doing nice sales this weekend? I remember SK did a 40% off last year but haven't seen anything yet that good this year.

I saw Home Depot had a sale for a 200pc socket set (only sockets in a box) that included 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 in 6pt and 12 point for $99. I thought that sounded like a good deal for a pretty complete collection of sockets without any fluff other than the duplicate 6pt and 12pt sockets - which can be handy. They also had an SAE and Metric full polish wrench set in normal and stubby sizes for $20. Sure it wasn't a huge set and there were a few skips but for that money its a good extra set for the truck. I'm set on all those things but if I had been in the market for any extra set - or starting one that seemed like a good deal. They also had some reasonable deals on tool sets that included the case and screwdrivers, ratchets etc.

Agreed it is quite lackluster this year.

I was looking forward to Ryobi Days and and it was quite lame.

Maybe some good stuff will go on sale for the 4th.

I just dumb-lucked into a Ryobi brushless combo on the clearance isle. Drill, impact, and 7 1/4" saw, new in the box, $130. On sale I think they went for $199, so that was a deal. But it wasn't father's day and they only had one.

Maybe the chinese tariffs had something to do with the lack of decent Father's day sales. I remember Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Father's Day HD, Lowes and Amazon had awesome sales in years past.
