Fathers day

Just ordered my fathers day present. We are celebrating it a little early due to my parents being out of town during the weekend.

I got him a set of thread checkers. He is a tool/shop guy but I swear I buy him tools that I use more than he does LOL. Ive also gotten him a 30 gal belt driven compressor and some select snap on stuff.

Anyways it works out for both parties! thought this set looks good.

Ive seen that on amazon. Its currenly in my tool wish list actually. It looks like one of those things that will be handy forever, like how did we ever get along without that before.

It definetely looks like one of the more quality products. I saw some of the others where the letters and numbers would wear out after some use.

I may experiment to see how the lanyard holds up or if I want to find some way to fix them all in a block of some sort.

I have the same. A few numbers are a bit hard to read at times (not stamped all that well), but it works well enough. That plus my rethreading kit were my best purchases.

I do the same with and my bday and fathers day are the same week so its all combined. Its much better for me to just pick out exactly what to get instead of them spending $ on something that i can't or wont use.

Not garage related but this year is a PS4 to replay the reboot of FF7 thats coming out. Reliving 128 bit graphics in 4k is just amazing concept for the one of the greatest video games of all time.

Is it only on PS4 or will other options be available? I haven't had a console in years and years but might just get one for that.

Yes ff7 is being completely redone in hd for the ps4. Google it. Its the main reaon im getting a ps4 too. Although red dead redemption 2 is gonna be sweet also
