Skip that expensive stainless stuff, and do it in the grey pex (with the belled end). It is seriously much better.

If they still exist a plumbing supply shop would be your best bet, probably, instead of a big box store.

BrassCraft does have some USA made stuff, though. I have USA made BrassCraft stop valves.

A good question. I need to replace some very shoddy supply lines but won't do it until I find some US quality stuff- that project just hasn't come up far enough in the priority list. And I use pex, but not where I can see it- barn for instance.

When our house was built, the plumbers put the cold on the left and the hot
on the right. We got used to it, but I thought it would be a good learning
experience to make it right. We are the 2nd owners, and the seller did not
mention it.

I could not find any flex made in USA, so I used 3/8 copper tube and
compression fittings, all made in USA. No leaks and I got some experience
cutting, bending and connecting copper tube. I did not feel comfortable
soldering in such a tight space.
