Faux brick wall panels?

Hello,

Looking at wrapping a bunch of our walls in the faux panels. I think the back drop would be great for signs.

Anyone have a good source for something a little more realistic then you would see at Lowes or Home Depot. I have done these in a small office space for a pretty cool look but want something authentic looking, however do not want the cost or space involved with real brick.

Interested in this too...I was looking at faux brick for use on a small outdoor shed close to the house. House is entirely stone/brick and I wouldn't mind something looking decent rather than vinyl siding.

How about a real brick veneer? It's typically 1/2" thick. This stuff is expensive if you buy retail, but you can often find remnants from construction projects on craigslist.

We used a product called nova brick , Its a dry stack product that stacks and every couple of rows gets screwed to the wall . I dont know how much it costs because it was included in the price of a morton building we had built. I do know that you have to drill holes for the screws because its not pre drilled there is also some cutting required i believe they are a couple inches thick had them up for 10 years still look like new . As i remember there were a lot of different brick and stone options .

This is a wall in my son's office at a Chevy dealership. All it is, is the cheap brick paneling, then he wiped it down with paint to put a patina on it.

These are a little cheaper (usually about $7-8.00 per sq. foot) and a better product IMPO. Should be alot easier to find locally, and also has a wider array of options:

I have looked for years for a faux brick that looks good and is affordable for giving my shop some character. I talked to a brick company he stated real brick is cheaper then the real brick veneer when paying a mason to install. The foam or plastic like panels still would cost a few hundred to do that same as $80 worth of brick paneling. I have seen some really nice wallpaper in some commercial settings but haven't found a source. I've even thought about hand painting. A lot of time/work for a 50/50 possibility of it looking good.

I do like the latest HD brick panels over the red Lowes product. I also decided to just paint the paneling similar to what Kevin showed.

Well done. The paint made a big improvement. Not sure I'd use white or that much of it but I really like the improvement.

You could also use foam insulation board and cut the brick shape in your self. There is a member on here that was doing a shed or garage return and was doing this tomatch the siding on his house. What he did looked good. Foam is easy to sculpt with a knife and sand paper, some paint and it would look real. Plus its super light and could be attached pretty easy.
