Diet Pepsi mostly,Poweraid Zero, good old water, and on ocasion a Yeingling Lager. I try and stay away from sugar, it tends to offset the INSULIN.

I seldom drink anything in the garage. My projects don't take long enough that I need to be drinking something. Besides, I can't work and have a drink in my hand. No work gets done if my hands aren't free.
My garage refrigerator has only beer in it, but that isn't used for garage work. After I have to suffer through mowing the lawn, my reward is a cold beer outside on the porch.

Either a root beer float or Pepsi.

Jim

Sweet lookin Pepsi machine Jim! did you restore it or did you get it in that condition? I think it would be cool to restore something like that... I remember as a youngin goin to the corner store and getting a bottle of Dr for 25 cents LOL .. always took an empty bottle for the deposit of 5 cents off.

Black coffee in the morning... then either Mello Yello, Gatorade, or lemonade. And after working, beer (garage beer of the week is Deschutes Brewery Twilight Summer Ale). I try to keep the garage fridge stocked with a variety of beverage options for visitors.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the comments! The LaCrosse Pepsi can vendor is a "survivor" that spent it's early years in a "light use" location, therefore it only needed a little cleaning and wax to appear as you see it in the pics.

The Ideal Model 55 "slider" bottle machine in the pic below required a total restoration by me before it was ready for use in the garage. It is somewhat difficult to find glass bottles that will fit the rails and vend properly, so this machine doesn't get the use that the LaCrosse can one does.

It's always fun to hand a visitor a dime and invite them to get a cold Pepsi.

Jim

As some country singer said, "I like beer". Or a Scotch. But only if I'm cleaning up, putting a finish on a wood project, etc. If I'm using the table saw, bandsaw, etc., it's just water or maybe coffee.

With garage temps of 100+ any time after 10am, I start off with fresh bell pepper, cilantro, tomato, orange, lemon juice, then move on to water. If I know that I am going to be working for a while, I will make some carrott, apple, banana, orange juice ahead of time so that I can drink fresh cold juice while I am working. Even drinking plenty of water and nutrient rich juice, anything longer than about 4 hours of work (in the 100+ degree heat) gets unproductive towards the end.
