All this talk about cutters and what not got me going into GJ Forum tool talk.

What's your favorite cutters for metal, cu, pvc, etc

For Me -

I like the General .autocut for small pipe
For heavier pipe, I like the Klein pipe cutter. There are 4 rollers on the thing and it tracks straight

For PVC - I bought a Ridgid Ratchet up to 2 1/2" and also got a large wheel cutter for plastic that goes up to 4 1/2". I can't cut perfect straights with a sawzall or bandsaw. It does take some effort and time, but the large wheel cutter works great. I'm sorta 50/50 on the ratchet cutter. It's not even dead even straight. I get better results with the portaband

Pex
No clue. I just have this cheap plastic Uponor one since it's used very very infrequently.

Steel - a bunch of older ridgid screwfeeds.
I did but those ratcheting types and I did not like them. I went back to the screwfeeds
