What is your go to hand tool at the house,or anywhere but work? I've searched the threads to make sure this is an original. This was my favorite tool for 11 yrs and it was lost at work.Hereis what my new one will looks like.

For general house repairs probably my Klien Linemans pliers. They work as pliers, cutters, crimpers amd a hammer.

Sorry newbie here, i guess i should have said favorite single tool . I was just wanting to know what one can do with just one tool ,and which one is easy for you. . My brother would use an adjustable wrench for everything.

I find it interesting how ergonomics, and how and where you grow up affects your choices for what tool you grab My brother who I mentioned earlier would grab an adjustable ,my friend the right wrench I would get a ratchet ,a long extension and socket . We all grew up on a farm. my brother is truckdriver in Ga who has never met anyone he will not talk to. My friend is working on a oil rig in Alaska.Me Im a loner installing fence in GA. The Question is does what tool you grab determind your personality and place where you live ?

Yup my original pre-2004 Wave gets used around the house, and is a primary tool on all fishing trips. Alway on my belt when I go out into the field and on all summer camping trips too.

I would say that my number one tools that gets the most use around the house for almost all tasks are both my Irwin 9-in-1 screwdriver and my 10" #430 Channellock tongue&groove pliers.
