I went from a Miller 100 series... the trigger broke, to a Bernard 300, which was **** brick house but the size of one as well, to a USA Weld flex neck.
Easily the best gun for my usage. Light weight, flexing neck is amazing, quality is good, spare parts, and pretty cheap.

Love the gun that came with my new Miller 211...

Those Miller 211s are fairly impressive. Not to start an anti Lincoln war here, because I really like Lincolns, I just like Millers more. I was building a portable barge for someone....21 X 40 with a pile driver and fold up pontoons. Started out with the employers 211. Early on he bought a Lincoln 350? I believe. Right off, the thing welded about 20 minutes then quit. Off to the dealer. I continued welding with the 211 for several days, then the dealer dropped off a rental while the new Lincoln was being remodeled. About 2/3 of the way through, the Lincoln gets back. About 14 hours on the Lincoln now, and the trigger switch goes out. Back to the 211, until they could run me up a new switch. I had to stop occasionally to let the 211 cool down, but it did fabulous. I welded a lot of aluminum with the 211 as well. Solid machines but I hated the auto set with the spool gun. Always adjusted it to my specs.

My favorite is the Miller M-25 for short arc. For anything else, I really like the Cobra push-pull a buddy has on his Lincoln 350MP.

Right now I have only used the gun that came with my 211. But that flex neck gun looks interesting. Wish I had it when I rebuilt my trailer. Couple of times it would have come in handy. I may spring for one of those.

Hard to answer poll. On my Miller 251 I have a Tweco 300 amp with Bernard Centerfire consumables and a 30A Spool Gun with a 10" Miller Flex Neck that uses the same Bernard contact tips. I love the quality of the tips and I only have to stock one style.

Only time I ever had a problem with a gun was twice, once on my own tweak on Linc and a Miller somewhere and i fixed both on the spot. My Linc was early on, low hour and never had another problem.
Same for a stinger, in good shape and doesn't get hot I am good with it. It's so rare there would be an advantage other than stock I don't bother, I make do.

Bernard q-300. Ran lots of .045 and .052 dual shield without issues.

I had an "off brand" , might have been an L-Tec to start with I learned to MIG with, sold it when it started giving me problems and bought an ESAB MigMaster 250. I loved that gun...it had a trigger guard, you could lay it down and it didn't "go off" like the Miller 252 I have now does. Other than the MIG gun on the 252 not having a guard, I love it.

On the smaller MIG machines, I use what was supplied. The larger mig machines the Bernard as mentioned is popular.
