Whoa! That Hazet is really a beauty. I think I might have to get one of those.

out of ratchets i own..1/4" duralast flex head, 3/8 tie between my craftsman bent handle flex, and my duralast flex. 1/2"..dont really have one i like. I have a duralast 1/2" comfort grip, it works fine.just not my favorite.

My favorite would be an older Craftsman RHFT 3/8 that my dad gave me when I was a kid. I believe that these were manufactured by Easco back in the day. A close second would be the Proto Big Dawg 3/8 (just feels right in my hand). For 1/2, my SO S936 is my favorite. For 1/4, I like my old S-K.

Snap On 3/8 bent handle flex head, 95% of the time that's the one I grab first.

For me it's my SK palm control fine tooth ratchets. Got them at a good deal on sears website a few years ago. Much better feel than my Craftmans raised panel.

I am amazed at how many people like the gearwrench ratchets. I might have to try one. Question is confort grip or full polish.

No shame in saying that my favorites are definitely the Craftsman RHFT.

Close second is probably the SK round head design. After that, I'd say the F80 and F936 are tied for third.

I really like the Snap-On FK series. It's compact and fast... great when you're in the process of mocking stuff up. (Constantly putting it together, taking it back apart, making changes, putting it back together... etc) Plus you can easily change the direction with one hand and a glove on... which is nice when you're elbow- or should-deep in your project!

I've got over 150 favorites!

I just cant choose one, all have their particular good points and bad. nI just have trouble choosing which one I want to use any day.

Particularly like my older Proto's and Plomb's for smoothness with strength.

honestly some of the best ratchets I have ever used are my channelock ones 1/4"-1/2" that I got in my mechanics set from sams club 4 years ago? they just feel good I don't know why. And I have yet to see any channelock sockets or anything other than this kit from sams.

I am developing new preferences as I get some other better ratchets but these are still great

i am going to chime in on this one.... i am a huge snap on fan. and i like/love their ratchets. I like almost all of them.... at least the tear shaped ones....

but i just got my first two Cornwell ratchets. I really like the look and feel of their design. I will be getting a few more in the near future. I want to give them a shot. i really love the handle design on the Cornwell's.....
