nice, i have a couple of screwdrivers that look almost identical to them, with the split wooden handle and through blade, not sure the make though, will have to go and look (should really give them a good clean up as they have been somewhat neglected)

All i know is that apparently they were bought from woolworth's (the now defunct UK store) in the 60's or 70's by my father, i guess they could be Irwin but maybe it was a common style of driver back then?

I don't know why but my Favorite screwdrivers are the old Mac Red HardHandle. I don't have any reason just like the grainy feel of the handle.

same here, my 'go to' screwdrivers are my old orange mac tools ones, though the grain effect has long since worn off, wish they still made them, particularly in green and orange (still trying to track down some to finish my set)

I've got Craftsman Professional, DeWalt, and the close out Craftsman in the grey handles, but my Williams hard handle set is my favorite.

ACepero,
Is that a Dewalt ratcheting screwdriver in the bottom right corner of the picture? If it is, how do you like it?

I've used it a couple of times and it has served me well. Includes slotted, phillips, and torx bits. The handle fits really well in my hands. Similar to their screwdrivers.

I have one of these, right down to the government stock number. Very well built. If only the wooden handles were easily removed so I could Evapo-Rust the entire thing...

Somebody should come out with a set of these. :rocker:

My screwdrivers from top left going down Snap On, Stanley(I do have a Staley with the older style handle somewhere but I couldn't find it for this pic), Crescent, Crescent(Older style with orange handle)
Top right going down Wiha (Insulated Softfinish), Cat ( I assume made either by Snap On or Williams), Stahlwille, Older Stahlwille ( In my opinion the best screwdriver I have ever used) Oldest Stahlwille ( I picked up this one and several others at a market about 10 years ago(
