What is the brightest tool color that Snap on offers in screwdrivers that stands out if you lay it down in the gravel or grass?

But what happens in the fall when there are leaves on the ground? What color won't blend in with the leaves?

I’ve got a bunch if high vis green stuff. It stands out great underground and on surface in the snow it’s easy to spot. In the grass? Yea you can find it.

I was given a green ratcheting SnapOn screwdriver. I am surprised that I have not lost it yet.
Like you say, Green grass and the screwdriver goes invisible.

I work in a shop or underground field environment so it’s not bad for me. The green (and orange) get full of grease easily and make them hard to find sometimes. I’ve used them at home a few times and I certainly wouldn’t want to use them in the grass or I’d find them with the lawn mower.

I work outside on Green tractors or inside a poultry house . Just curious, do some of you use green tools on St. Patrick's day or red close to Christmas or orange on Halloween?

😂🤣😂

I’ve never liked black. I know some folks do but I always seem to be working in dimly lit garages and workshops, and bright colours just work so much better!

My father, an airline pilot for just short of 40 years, always reckoned you should never take any black tool onto an aircraft. I think he was right, he had a load of mini mag lites and old style Snap On screwdrivers that he’d found over the years. Also a nice little ring spanner (box end wrench) which had been donated by being left in the trim mechanism of his BAC 1-11...!

I don’t think you can better red or yellow for most applications. I generally favour red for screwdriver handles, whether Snap On or not, and have done for years, but I like different colours to denote different tips.

Most of my drivers are red, but I always try to differentiate Pozidriv, which I try to keep blue or green. All my Torx are either orange or yellow. Believe me this really helps on a busy bench when you are dealing with god knows how many different fasteners.

I personally go for the green with screwdrivers and prybars. Red handles on the pliers. The green really stands out in a dimly lit work area which is very common with the agriculture equipment I work on, as well as in engine bays and whatnot. Red does decently too, but the green seems to still be visible even when coated in grime which is another common thing with what I have to work on.

Haven't ever had an issue working in a hay field either, the bright green is more than enough contrast to the grassy green fields that it isn't a problem at all to find something.

Can you get talon grip needle nose pliers in a color other than red? That's all I see in the latest Snap on flier.

Yes, orange and green are available. The other colours turn up quite often in the sets on special, and I think they must be available individually as my driver often has them!
