Favorite Summer Finds

Here in the North West summer is garage sale season, not much happens in the winter. I assume its the same in most of the Northern states. In honor of the last day of summer post up your favorite find from this one.
Mine is this Proto Los Angeles Toolmobile, been looking for one for a very long time. These seem much harder to find than the Plomb version.

Speaking of places for Proto LA to live, here is my favorite summer find. It is by far my favorite Proto tool board I have. I love the larger than normal logo and I think the outline of all the pliers seems so much more artistic than tool outlines on other boards. I don’t have a picture after I cleaned it up and put the pliers I have on it, so this is the same picture from the Proto thread right when I got it

I found this guy and gave him a facelift

It's an air compressor from France from the 1920's

I also found this beauty. It needed some freshening up and a pole built for it.



It is now mounted in front of the big party garage

I just finished this project that i found on the internet this summer



I fell in love with this piece and had to have it.
After brushing off the dirt and giving it a little TLC
I found a place for it in the garage.

My favorite summer purchase- Porto la root mat topper. Purchased off Craigslist in Ohio and shipped here to Oregon . I’m going to put an led bulb in it and put it on my shelf next to other Proto la stuff

Just went back and read this thread! Some good stuff on here. Storm kings Proto la tool mobile which is amazing and c1504’s plier board!
