favorite wide (2.5"+) adjustable wrench

What's your favorite wide (2.5"+) adjustable wrench? I have some plumbing with a large nut, but would be handy to have for other uses, as well.

I was looking at the Ridgid 31400 12" Spud Wrench 3/8" - 2 5/8", but also read about some preferring an older monkey wrench such as Billings or Diamond.

I've got a couple different options, though have not run into much that a normal 24" adjustable wrench wont handle. I've got a couple Diamond 15" "monkey" wrenches and a Ridgid hex wrench, I've got the 9-1/2", though they go bigger. Both were/are helpful with hydraulics.

Is it real pressure fittings, or just drain lines. I have a string bean crescent type wrench, which gets hauled out before the channel locks.

I’ve got pipe wrenches for stuff that needs real brute force.
