If you had to choose a wrench you like the chance to use which one will it be ?



Mine would have to be my snap oh28 open end /flex head 7/8 wrench I use it all the time for suspension timing belts and a lot of caliper brackets and tie rod never fails and it is hard to beat leverage and comfort of this design with its length and round handle

I have a Matco long pattern double box end 12mm/14mm that got left in my engine bay some mechanic left at some point years ago. opened the hood to work on something years back and there it was. didn't know what I had at the time, was in my teens. Now I really appreciate that wrench

Have a Bahco ergo 9073 12" made in sweden pipe wrench / adjustable wrench combo. Has some weight to it and is comfortable but not so comfortized to feel weak. Cleans up well and grips pipe like a vise when you know how to use it. Own 6, 8, and 10" in spanish made bahco by snapon models but love the original the most. Got for $20 on a closeout at an industrial supply house. Made by the creators of the adjustable wrench. When snap on decided to buy an adjustable wrench design to revamp their line they found one of the best in Bahco. Its currently part of my killer trio for industrial plumbing - along with knipex cobra and pliers wrench (another pleasure to use wrench for sure). Between the three i have two solid pipe grippers along with two adjustable wrenches. Generally its bacho adj on the head of the bolt and knipex ratchet action on the nut. With pipe the bahco is the stabilizing grip while the cobras do the moving work and regripping.

I have a 15/16 challenger wrench that I like and I had an older long pattern 5/8 bluepoint that I loved. It disappeared out of my roadbox

Ive got a dbe plomb wrench, that at some point was 2 separate wrenches, one of which marked war finish, and were welded together to make a ridiculously long wrench. I think its 3/8 x 7/16. Ive never actually used it, but its my favorite.

Picked up a "bag-o-craftsman" at a yard sale for $3 that had a mint 14mm snap-on wrench. Cleaned it up and I'm always happy when I find a 14mm bolt, it's def. my favorite.
