I saw a Mac tool truck on route 22 south of Mcveytown,PA today February 1st. I saw a snap on truck roughly 2 weeks ago in ****,VA. Anyone else see tool trucks in rural areas? Or in your immediate neighborhood? You can comment even if you don't set foot on a tool truck. As long as you see one in business I'm cool. Junk tool trucks in the scrapyard don't count, LOL. Thank you for your time.

I see the Mac and Matco trucks pretty regularly on my way to work.

This independent truck was a bit unusual.

I met with my SnapOn guy today to buy both sizes of the flank grip slip joint pliers, and the new smaller slip joint needle nose pliers. Truck was well stocked and he was happy to see me. I’m fortunate to have a great SnapOn guy.

Guarantee he’s a former Cornwell Tool dealer.
Why is it that you say that? I’m not doubting you for a second, just wondering if something happened with Cornwell and GearWrench (or whatever distributor) swooped in and took a bunch of Cornwell dealers? I’ve literally only ever seen one Cornwell truck within 150 miles of my house. I’ve never been on one of their trucks.

I see the same Snap On truck at least once, if not two or three times a week at one of the places I do service work. There's another Snap On dealer with a giant race car type trailer that I see one or two times a month as I'm going from one place to another, another Snap On truck at another one of my customers, but I'm not there very often, a Mac truck goes to another customer every Thursday and I see it every couple of months, and last week I was at another customers and though I didn't see the truck, a guy with a Cornwell shirt came walking through the shop.

One of these days I'm going on the Snap On truck and getting a pair of those adjustable long nose pliers everyone on here raves about. SK used to have a set and I him hawed about it, when I was ready to actually get a pair, they had been discontinued.

GearWrench or whoever owns them was sniping Cornwell dealers left and right when Cornwell started jerking around their dealers. My Cornwell guy and the Cornwell guy that replaced him both jumped ship to GW.

Thank you for sharing on these tool truck sightings. I realize in an urban setting, tool trucks are nothing out of the ordinary. But if you live in the sticks, it's a different story.

I rarely go a day without seeing a Snap-on truck. The other brands are once in a while.

I live in the biggest suburb of a huge industrial city… so…

I spot my dealer on his very rural route every tuesday at 230 on a call to a local shop. I feel bad dropping in on him on another call, but I never catch him when hes at the shop.

Had to drive 30 miles to my MAC driver today to warranty an 1&1/4 impact shallow socket. I almost felt bad about doing the warranty because that socket has impacted over 100,000 structural bolts in the last 5 years with the big Milwaukee 1/2 inch drive .

Well HD has a lot better tool selection than menards, but HD deliveries come in plain label trucks around here anyway.
I don't think I've set foot on a snap on truck in the last 25 years.
I am assuming you meant Home Depot. There's an H.D. supply/ White Cap that has a thicker catalog than snap on loaded with tools and industrial supplies. Not automotive tools. I do see H.D. supply/ White Cap trucks every once in a blue moon.
