I was under the impression that SO had purchased Stahwille and Bahco in recent times

Bahco, yes, Stahlwille, no. I honestly have no idea why someone would buy Snap-On tools in a country where Stahlwille is equally available, but then I don't know about Australian tool availability and am just assuming it's like western Europe.

well, either option would hurt your pocket in Oz. Tool prices can be ridiculous.

German swap meets and US boot sales are my idea of heaven.

either way it was too expensive to bring back everything I wanted when I worked overseas....
