Hey Folks,
The last page in my attachment shows what I propose to do to my garage for more overhead storage and access to the attic door. If you were me, how would you approach this differently and what concerns would you have with my proposed design, considering these constraints:

The last page in my attachment shows what I propose to do to my garage for more overhead storage and access to the attic door. If you were me, how would you approach this differently and what concerns would you have with my proposed design, considering these constraints:
Constraints:
- The west wall & roof will be extended 3-5ft out after ~5 years
- The area shall be accessible by folding ladder
- The area will store seasonal & long-term storage items (e.g. several 27-gal black-yellow totes, christmas tree)
- The area shall be a platform to access the attic door
- North half of the garage shall have no obstruction up to rafters for future headroom (e.g. bicycle/kayak hoists, 4-post lift)
- Glass wall frame is not designed/built to be load-bearing
- Air from ground-level shall freely pass through this area (i.e. I do not want finished, insulated ceiling/walls separating this area from surroundings)
- Ceiling shall be cathedral-style with insulation, vent channels, and drywall
