Hey all! We just added a new tool (no pun intended) to our website and we want your feedback. Our new Torque Finder page has a large slider of torque values and you will find all the torque wrench (and screwdriver and T-handle!) possibilities within the chosen range. We have been developing it for a couple months and have tried to think of all the different variables, but we want to hear from you. Is this helpful to you? What would you add or change? Anything? You can be brutally honest. We can take it!

Kind of comes across as an Excel document so some refinement on the presentation would be nice, but not necessary. Seems to work fine.

Also, not a lot in stock?

Awesome. Thanks for the comment!

As far as the out of stock tools, we don't keep every tool we list on the site in warehouse. Especially some of the torque wrenches due to their cost. 99.9% of the tools are available for purchase though, in stock or not. When anyone orders an out-of-stock item, we put an order in for it and get it into our warehouse ASAP.

I think most people wouldn't necessarily assume they can still order a tool that shows out of stock. Many ecommerce sites don't even allow placing an order for out of stock items.

It might be better to say something like "Available to order - Not stocked in warehouse", or similar instead of saying out of stock.

When you click on an item it shows backorderable with an estimated time of arrival.

On iOS the slider for choosing range doesn’t show in portrait, only in landscape.
Honestly, it needs some refining. Its too cluttered.
I’ll check it out on desktop later and see how it looks there.
I like the idea and you have a lot of options to choose from!

In addition, if you hover over the Out of Stock note on the torque-finder app there is a pop up message directing you to the product page for more info. Still, some indication that the item can be backordered would be helpful.

If you've purchased from KC tools you should know that most out of stock products can be back orders with a relatively short wait time. One of the nice features of the site is the back order info on each product page when an item is out of stock.
