Hi everyone, I am installing a 100 amp sub-panel 300 feet from my meter base. Because of the distance, I was planning on running three (3) 2/0 wires in 1 1/2" conduit to the new panel. My question is: do I need a ground wire running to the sub-panel from the meter base. If a ground wire is necessary, I will need to run 2" conduit i believe. Thank you very much for your help

A subpanel indicates there is a disconnect upstream, which necessitates a 4 wire feeder.

If you aren't planning a disconnect at the meter, change that plan. 300 ft of unprotected wire is a bad idea

You don't need a 2/0 neutral. Two 2/0, one 1, and one 4
