OK, the original story is here:

My son has lived in Hawaii for a while now, and I miss him so much. He went to Guilford Technical college before he left the mainland, and was able to buy a great Snap-on box at a super student discount way back then. Years later he master-minded the best gift I ever had in my entire life... see thread above. I have the best son a dad could ask for and miss him so much: it's painful I miss him so much.
Well, we are consolidating stuff getting ready for a pending move that may come sooner or later, not really sure as it's work dependent. Stressful time. I have some of his tools, his box and lots of tools of my own, many of which mean so much to me because they were my father's, or most of them my father inspired me to to keep collecting them and enjoying mechanics, fabricating and creativity through using my hands, abilities and skills he taught me.
Well, it turns out my son needs to retire some some debt to get back to the mainland in a couple years (he has a great job there, and let's face it, it's Hawaii dude!)... so he sold me his Snap-on box... or maybe I'm just "renting" it since all this is is "over my dead body", which will eventually happen, although I hope it's a long time from now, for sure! Not sure how much my estate will be for my son and daughter, and frankly do not worry about that too much as current life challenges are about all I can handle, but my tools and my dad's tools are very, very important... as is my son owning them all some day.
So a friend helped me move my sons box from our basement storage to my garage, and I spent all afternoon filling it, and filling my own box some more (that he gave me as a gift), with almost all the tools I have from the basement shop, and a few of his that I am holding for him.
So here are the pics... both boxes. I never, ever thought I would be so fortunate to own such nice pieces.... and my son can have his back anytime he wants it really. I am truly blessed to be loved so much and have the son that I do... and now 2 really awesome Snap-on boxes I never dreamed of having to begin with. I'd give them both up for him to be home. I can't wait for the day.
