don't know yet bought both though. I think the one from tool nut has 4 speeds and removable chuck to convert it to a driver. This one may or may not come with 4amp/h batteries though.

The drill is the model ASB18C and the impact driver is ASCD W418C.

2Ah batteries, and 2 speed for the one above.

the previous link was a 4 speed drill, with 4Ah batteries, and a removable chuck.

Based off the part number some are 4amp and some are listed s 2amp with the exact same part number. Some people who ordered from amazon got one of each while others one one or the other.

Both of your links show 2.0a batteries and the toolnut additional of having 4.0a batteries is also brushless.

I just bought the toolnut offering and am also very tempted to order this.

There goes my tool spending freeze.

:p

Oops, a bunch of guys beat me to it.

As far as I know there are no bad Fein tools. However, the drill in this special is not the same as the 4-speed model recently on special from Toolnut. This one is not brushless and has a different chuck. Country of Origin is listed as China on the Amazon site, but I've found that sometimes inaccurate. Might be worth checking. All that aside, if I didn't already have a FUEL impact (or 2) I'd be all over this one.

Another difference between the Toolnut one and this one. The Toolnut one has an electronic clutch, this appears to have a mechanical clutch.

I agree with poppa roach, looks like rebranded stuff

For those that got the ASCM QX, you could get this set, sell the drill and charger. You'd be left with two slim 2AH batteries and a nice matching impact to your brushless drill.

Rice rocket has it right the older Fein cordless tools were OEM'ed by TTI based on Milwaukee designs. I don't know if they are moving production in house for everything or are going to have two different product lines.

Well...I'm glad I read to the bottom before jumping in on this (especially since I was asking for a Fein impact deal in the other thread!). Safe to assume both the impact and drill are China COO? Of course, with the cost of batteries...might be worth it just to get a pair of smaller 2AH units to go with the QX series drill!

Doesn't look like Fein actually has a German made impact driver in their line...unless I'm missing something.
